Liongate Wants "Son Saka"

Lionsgate has begun to negotiate for a remake of Son Saka, which was released last year.

The original story of Son Saka, which had the chance to be released in theaters last year during the pandemic, has been requested by Lionsgate, an international film distributor. The London-based firm approached Two Production and began negotiations for Son Saka‘s rights.

The storyline of the film is, Serdar Gokalp is a radio programmer and famous for his jokes. One day he made a joke to his girlfriend to aim for his proposal. But the things don’t work as he wants. To reunite them, one of their common friends organizes a holiday for them. Serdar Gokalp, Ege Kokenli, Gokay Muftuoğlu, Perihan Unlucanand Kemal Basar are in the cast of the movie;

The film directed by M. Erkam Bulbul, Son Saka, and its screenwriter was Fatih Mutlu, was watched by 11.608viewers upon its release. The movie was removed from theaters with the closure due to the COVID-19.

7th Mercy to the Universe International Short Film Festival

Submissions for the “7th Mercy to the Worlds International Short Film Festival,” which is organized from the perspective of the Prophet Muhammad’s life and morality, or the responsibility of being a Muslim in this era, have begun.

In its seventh edition, the “Mercy to the Universe International Short Film Festival,” the world’s first festival dedicated to the Prophet Muhammad, continues to support filmmakers with the Final Draft Industrial Department Award. The Final Draft programme, aims to bring together short film directors and producers with industry professionals and festivals of Turkish and international cinema, as well as to support projects during the production phase.

Nacer Khemir, Shems Friedlander, Ahmed Mahfouz Nouh, Ovidio Abdullatif Salazar, Salim Ahamed, Emad Burnat, Rabia Christine Brodbeck, and others who have made major contributions to cinema in recent years were among the festival’s guests. This year’s event will feature special guests as well as short filmmakers and audiences.

The winning films will receive a total of 100,000 TL in the festival’s competition programme of the festival, where a total of 300,000 TL will be awarded. In the Final Draft Industry Department, a total of 200,000 TL will be given the productions in the categories of Script Development Support and Short Film Production Support. It is necessary for films or projects in the categories to which all projects may apply, regardless of genre, to include a reference to the life and morality of the Prophet Muhammad or a subject relevant to the responsibility of being a Muslim today.

Turkey’s New Covid Rule: Vaccination and PCR Test Required In Theaters

Ministry of Interior announced!



The Ministry of Interior has released a regulation titled “PCR Test Obligation for Certain Activities.”

Unvaccinated people will be required to have a negative PCR test by Monday, September 6, 2021, in order to participate in public activities such as concerts, movies, and theaters.

As a result, at the entrance to the events, authorities will ask for a vaccinated/past disease certificate (according to the time scientifically regarded immune following Covid-19 disease) or a negative PCR test result at least 48 hours ago. If the person has not had the disease or is not vaccinated or hasn’t got a negative PCR test, they will not be allowed to participate in the event.

A negative PCR test is also required for those who are unvaccinated or have never had the disease for intercity travel by airline, bus, train, or other public transportation vehicles, except private automobiles, according to the regulation.

Better Call Saul Star Bob Odenkirk Transported To Hospital

It has been announced that Bob Odenkirk collapse and was hospitalized while filming the Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul.

An unexpected situation occurred on the set of Breaking Bad‘s spin-off series Better Call Saul. Odenkirk is now in production on the sixth and final season of “Better Call Saul,” a spin-off of the hugely famous series “Breaking Bad.” TMZ announced that Odenkirk collapsed on the set of the program in New Mexico on Tuesday. The crew quickly summoned an ambulance.

The shooting of the series, which will finalize with its sixth season, has been postponed for a while due to COVID-19. The sad situation that occurred on the series’ New Mexico location, which began production while security measures were in place, forced the set to take a pause for a while. Odenkirk is currently being treated in the hospital, while the cause of his collapse has not been revealed.
