Juliette Binoche joins the cast of HBO Max’s miniseries The Staircase, which is based on true stories.

Juliette Binoche, Three Colors and Chocolat star, joins the cast of The Staircase, a mini-series produced by HBO Max from true stories. The Staircase casts in the upcoming season of the drama opposite Toni Collette, Colin Firth, and Rosemarie DeWitt.

Antonio Campos co-wrote the series with American Crime Story writer Maggie Cohn. The eight-episode series will focus on Michael Peterson’s life, his family in North Carolina, and the suspicious murder of his wife Kathleen. The mini-series, co-producing by HBO Max and Annapurna TV, is executive produced by Campos and Cohn.

The first images from the fifth season of “La Casa de Papel,” a Spanish-made crime thriller created by Álex Pina, have been revealed. The first five episodes of the series will be aired on September 3, 2021, followed by the final five episodes on December 3, 2021. The series, which stars Álvaro Morte, Úrsula Corberó, Itziar Ituño, Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente, Esther Acebo,andEnrique Arce, is based on the events of the Bank of Spain.

Netflix has released an official season five synopsis: The gang has been shut in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours. They have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own. The Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan. Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that is much more powerful than any they’ve faced: the army. The end of the greatest heist in history is approaching, and what began as a robbery will turn into a war.

BluTV, a Turkish streaming platform, has announced the launch of a new series. The series, starring Özge Özpirinçci and Salih Bademci, will be titled llk ve Son.

Cem Karcı (“The Red Room” and “Hercai”) is the director of Ilk ve Son. Hakan Bonomo is writing the script for the series, which will be Karcı‘s debut digital production.

This fall is being considered as a possible premiere date for the series, which has already begun filming. The highly anticipated series will examine life and relationships in all of their complexities.

Miles Teller will play the producer Al Ruddy in the upcoming TV series The Offer, which will follow the production of The Godfather.

Following Armie Hammer‘s leave from The Offer, which will focus on the production of The Godfather to be shot by Paramount Pictures to the big screen, an agreement was made with Miles Teller for the character of Al Ruddy. Hammer was left from the show after accused of sexual abuse and harassment.

Nikki Toscano and Michael Tolkin are writing and executive producing The Offer, with Toscano serving as showrunner. Dexter Fletcher will direct many episodes of the series.

Teller has also appeared in the Divergent movie franchise and War Dogs. He will soon be seen in Top Gun: Maverick and Escape From Spiderhead, two upcoming films.
